Equipment

  • Churros maker

Ingredients

  • 250 ml full cream milk
  • 50 gr butter
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 150 gr plain flour sift
  • 1 egg

Coating

  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Coating

  • Mixed the cinnamon and sugar on a plate with a spoon

Churros

  • Heat milk and butter in a pot
  • Stir so that it mixed well
  • Keep stirring until it is boiling and turn off the heat
  • Mix in the flour
  • Start stirring the mixture with a spoon or spatula
  • Add salt and sugar and keep mixing until it is no longer sticky
  • It should look like a ball as the following picture
  • Add the egg and mix again
  • Until the egg is fully mixed with the flour mixture
  • Put the mixture into the piping bag
  • Pipe into the Churros maker, and heat it up for 3-4 minutes
  • Take out the churros from Churros maker and dip it in the coating, turn it around so that the sugar and cinnamon mixture stick to the churros while it is hot.
